4. Book Recommendation of the Month
The just-published book Matters of Consequence is a 'comprehensive
map of the human situation that encompasses what is really important
in life, addresses our personal search for meaning and significance, and
deals with humanity's future in a positive solution- oriented way. From a
spiritual perspective, it explores the implications of the perennial philosophy
for humanity at this point in human history. The Earth Charter is listed as one
organizations out there making a difference.'
Paul Ray writes the following about this book: “Copthorne Macdonald has written
an utterly splendid review and analysis of what is really important in life.
Its particular value is its focus on what we most need to attend to about our
emerging world. He has organized his book well, with sharp, incisive comments.
Matters of Consequence shows us our own human faces with real gems of insight.
Paul H. Ray, co-author of The Cultural Creatives
